JITENSHA guarantees every new bike against any material defects or manufacturing for 2 years.
The E-JITENSHA engine and the battery have a 2 year warranty. The battery also has a 30,000km warranty and 1000 load cycles.

Your warranty will only be processed if you have valid proof of your purchase.
This warranty is expressly limited to replacing defective parts, or a defective framework, and is the only recourse of the warranty.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and damage caused by misuse, accidents, manipulation or inadequate mounting, as well as maintenance or installation of accessories and parts.

Service and quality are very important in Jitensha DNA. Our Japanese influence is for many. We are proud to offer very high-end experience and customer service. Do not hesitate to contact us for any question.

We have established a partnership with Cyclofix - https://www.cyclofix.com/ - in 8 French cities (Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon, Lille, Grenoble, Strasbourg, Nantes and Rennes) and 3 coming in September 2019 (Nice, Montpellier, Toulouse) for the service and maintenance of Jitensha bicycles. Cyclofix technicians are trained on our bicycles and technologies.
Cyclofix moves in front of you, at the office. All over. These are approved cycle technicians by the state, which move to bike-cargo.
Cyclofix retains a stock of parts allowing them to quickly solve all the potential problems.
If your JITENSHA is under warranty, we take the repairs to us. Cyclofix invoice us directly.

Cyclofix also offers, for € 55, to assemble your bike when you receive it at home, if you are not comfortable.

We assemble all Jitensha on demand and have all the parts making up your JITENSHA in stock. We can instantly ship them (if you wish) or ship them to the Cyclofix technician if necessary.

In Annecy and Geneva, we will welcome you every day of the week and weekend, on appointment, to perform all types of repairs on your Jitensha.
In Basel, our dealer, Cycling Store travel also welcomes you from Tuesday to Saturday, without appointment.

In all other cities, you can go to most cycle workshops, to make repairs or settings. If your JITENSHA is under warranty, we take the repairs to our charge on presentation of an invoice. Thank you for informing us of the quote before making the repair.

SPECIFICITIES OF SAV for E-JITENSHA, Electrical Support Bicycles:
All the above applies to e-jitensha.

Thanks to the iOS or Android application connected to Bluetooth to your e-jitensha, we are able to make a remote diagnosis to analyze your engine.
2 Types of problems:
- Software problem: remotely, we are able to "reset" your engine to correct possible inconsistencies between the engine and the application.
- Material problem: For hardware repairs, our technicians in Annecy and Geneva are trained and have parts required to replace where necessary parts of your engine. If the problem is hardware / mechanical, we organize our responsibility (during the warranty period), the round / return shipping to and from our workshops of Annecy and Geneva (and packing if necessary) for repair. Once repaired, we will ship the repaired wheel to the desired address. We always do our best to repair your engine / rear wheel within 10 days.
In the "Cyclofix Cities" (Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon, Lille, Grenoble, Strasbourg, Nantes and Rennes (and 3 coming in September 2019: Nice, Montpellier, Toulouse), Cyclofix technicians will be entitled from October 1st, 2019 to Repair the engines.
If your engine is under-warranty and a more consistent repair (or complete replacement of the wheel) is required we will support 100% transport and repair costs. We have an agreement with 100 boxes centers boxes etc in France, and we will send you a label to send us back the whole wheel (which is dismantled with a flat key of 17, in 5 minutes and without any technical skill). If you do not want to pack the wheel yourself, and you are close to a MBE center, they will do it for you. What is the life of the battery? And can it be replaced? The life of a battery is 3 to 5 years. We can replace the battery in our workshop. If it's out of warranty, the cost of a new battery is € 450, (workforce included). The battery can not be replaced directly by our users.

MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS

JITENSHA requires minimal maintenance. Apart from inflating your tires and grease your chain if necessary, you will not have to worry very much about the maintenance. For its longevity, we recommend that you park as much as possible your Jitensha in a dry place. Give him a little chandelier with a soft cloth as often as you like.
In case of problem with your JITENSHA, we can deliver all the pieces very quickly.
The quality of the parts, reliability of our offer and the simplicity of Jitensha significantly limit the risks. JITENSHA, these are quality pieces and their specifications are "standards" which means that you can replace most parts with any cycle repairer or you even if you prefer.
